INSTALLATION
Since 1996 Sheltronics has installed structured cabling in some of the major Jamaican financial institutions as well as most of the mining companies in the country. We have also done fibre termination for the Cayman Islands Government.

Our work has included installation of both multimode and singlemode fibre (aerial and underground) ADSS (All Dielectric Self Supporting) fibre.

EDUCATION

Cabling
We provide five day training courses in Structured Cabling covering the EIA/TIA standards, hands on fibre, Cat5e, Cat6 and designing from blueprints. Our courses are deliberately not vendor specific so we are free to provide knowledge of the best products or solutions available for any given requirement. We have found that this enables our students to be open minded when it comes to making design decisions in the best interest of our customers.

Networking
We periodically run classes in TCP/IP and Networking Essentials and have done in house classes for several of our Jamaican customers.

LIGHTNING AND SURGE PROTECTION
We are the agents in Jamaica for Erico products and provide support to the two Erico appointed distributors in Jamaica, L.S. Duhaney and Cesco Limited. 

We work closely with Erico to provide the best solutions for lightning protection, grounding and surge protection to our valued customers.

TELEPHONY
Sheltronics is currently marketing the 3Com NBX PBX system along with several service offerings in the fields of voice and convergence.

FIBRE CONVERSION
We currently market the Metrobility line of products which offer world class performance and innovation. From simple media conversion to CWDM (Coarse Wave Division Multiplexing), Metrobility is the clear leader in this field.
